Default JK Toggle Switch

I have a 2008 JK...I want to add a toggle switch for some auxillary lights. Anyone have any suggestions? I have the little switch/toggle panel where my hazards lights and button to turn off the traction control...in that same panel there are two more slots for toggles. I can't see how to get the empty slots open to put in a toggle. Any help would be appreciated!

WELCOME!!!

Do some searches here in the Electrical section. That lower panel does have blanks, but it is very difficult to add a switch there. Behind that row of switches and blanks is a circuit board. You can put a switch there but you have to be VERY careful not to damage the circuit board.

Other options for switch locations are above the driver speaker, the pillar next to the windshield and there is a "Daystar Lower Dash Panel" that replaces the panel below those buttons.

it looks like you have an automatic. i would definately go with a daystar lower dash panel. i did and i loved it untill i installed a second switch. i have a manual so my shift boot pushes the button when i go into 3rd or 5th. but great for an automatic and also good with the daystar rocker switches.

You are definetly ahead of me in the jeep modifications.

Is there space behind that panel for a CB? Been thinking about putting one there...

Looks like it has been a while since you have cleaned your interior.
