It just seems that a 13" is way too much for the JK, not too mention the price tag of almost $700 or $800. I am not looking to shake the roof of the car.
Jeeps are not cars.

I have an appointment with JML Audio here in St. Louis today to see what we can do for my new Rubi. I'm in line with BlackSahara on the PDX5 in the stock location driving this thing as it will keep it fairly stealth but I'm concerned that 75w might not be enough to drive a good set of front components. We'll see what JML has to say though.

What does the sub load off of is what I want to know. It's not ported so is it loading off the wheel well? My installer and I were trying to figure that out Thursday. Does anyone know a dealer selling this yet or someone who has one personally?

Ok so my JL box has finally arrived, I guess they build them to order. I am going with a 500W JL amp to drive it. The amp fits in the liittle spot in the rear under the flap just fine. I am adding a base control knob and something I cant remember where it will take out the funny dips in singal the radio does as you turn it up. REQ or something....

I also have the rear headrest with monitors in them for the kids so they will change them to be direct imput versus FM Modulated.

That could be the MTX EQ or the JL Audio clean sweep. Dont mount your amp in the rear tub it will overheat with the lid shut. You will need it to be in open air like under a seat or mounted out of the way in the cargo area.
