Got my CHR550 for around 400 on ebay with two bar cameras included.
Not sure if they recently changed the connectors but everything plugged in seamlessly, no bent pins or any other funky issues... With one exception, two days after installation my language randomly changed to French.... it took me a few minutes to figure out the combination to get it back to english! LoL.. Otherwise it's AWESOME..

Oh and if you turn on the forward farcing camera automatic option you won't be able to do ANYTHING else while the vehicle is stopped, from what I saw at least, kinda obnoxious actually.. Maybe I'm missing a setting somewhere but it seems like if it's motionless for more than 10 seconds the automatic option should go away.
Also I put mine right under the glovebox.

Any way to add steering wheel controls? What if I got a wheel with the controls out of a wrecked Jeep? Any idea how difficult it would be to retro fit into an 09 JKUR?

 

What's the benefit over earlier versions besides hooking up the Ipod for music, is it worth it not having the steering wheel buttons to control the Ipod? In manual mode does it charge the Ipod? I have a 2008 Sahara with the factory NAV radio and am getting ready to install a version 3 so I can use the NAV while moving and install front and rear cameras. Ipod stuff would be nice Does the rear camera have to be set for a reverse view of something like that?
