Default KC Windhshield Light Install - Any Recommended Supplies to Complete the Install?

Hey everyone,

Preparing to do a KC Slimlite install on KC windshield brackets tomorrow night. Are there any 'must have' supplies that the kit may not include that any of you would recommend? Any opinions on plastic versus metal conduit to protect the wires going into the engine compartment?

Thanks!

I sudgest that you wrap the entire harness in plastic wire loom. Get it in the electrical dept. @ you local home supply store. You could even 1-up that by buying a couple rolls of tape and tapeing up the intire assembly.

I have the same set up. Just bought wire loom and black zip ties. Depending on where you are going to mount the switch, a drill and a bit. I bought a ring connector for the wire going to the battery, just wanted everything clean. Otherwise it is a very easy install.

Thanks for all of the responses! Grabbed some 1/4" wire loom earlier and have most of the other tools/supplies mentioned. nickynorthface - did you ever post any pics of the finished product on your JK?

Here is my set up. If you have the loom from the light kit, conduit and zip ties are all you need to complete.

Thanks Vladivar - did you use the KC light mounts or a different brand. I was trying to avoid bending the antenna. Thanks!
