Default Kicker speaker replacement???

Has anyone replaced the stock speakers in the overhead soundbar with the Kicker speakers? Is it worth it? Is there a noticable sound difference? I have the MyGig unit with the stock Infinity speakers. Thanks.

Yup, I've done it, along with the sub and HU. I'll be replacing the front speakers and the amp soon too. Every mod made a small difference -- the HU probably making the biggest. I expect the new Dodge Nitro amp will be even better. :-)

Not added, _changing_. I'm swapping the stock Infinity amp with the Dodge Nitro amp. Same thing, except the Nitro one isn't crippled. I should get full volume out of the rear speakers after this upgrade. I also lined the soundbar with b-quiet to lessen any possible vibrations up there. Gotta do the Polyfill thing next.

I put Kicker KS60's in the soundbar and front dash, and it actually made the system sound worse. I think these kickers had a builtin crossover, because I lost ALL bass in those locations. I put the factory Infinity's back and THAT was an improvement.

Very disappointed...

The Kicker's you listed have an impedence of 4ohms, the stock system is all 2ohms, I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the problem? I know jack about stereos, but I was told to go with speakers who's Impedence matched that of the factory ones.
