Default Kill Switch

Has anyone added a kill switch to there JK??? I had a buddy who did this to a blazer many years ago and a thief damn near ripped the vehicle apart but never was able to steal it. He hid the black toggle at the bottom of his console. I am not sure how he did it and was wondering if anybody did....

You guys know that the JK won't go anywere unless the right key is in right? There's a chip on the key that is supposed to match the code w/the computer in the Jeep. If a key (or hotwired) it'll start for like 2 seconds and then shut off.

We have put roll control in a car which is an in-line brake lock with a switch mounted along side the driver's seat in the floor. Even if they were to get it running, it is not going anywhere unnoticed with the brakes locked up.

hmmm, this would be a good alternative to the parking brake for offroading. i never trust a cable brake in a stick spot if i need to get out.

I was thinking of putting inline on/off switch to the fuel pump. I don't know if its a smart thing to do but I would like to keep my jeep where it belongs, with me!!!

I've installed a kill switch for the fuel pump in my old Honda when I still had it. Worked like a charm. Engine would turn over but wouldn't start. Cut in between and wired a switch in. Pretty sure you can do the same, just need to know which wire supplies power to the pump on the JK.

roll control or line lock will not work as a parking brake. it is only ment for short periods of time to hold the car in place to do a burn out. a solenoid goes in the front brake lines and you hold the brake pedal down then turn it on. it keeps the brake line pressure in the front, or rear where ever you want it. i am thinking about doing this for a hill holder like the subaru's have. that is definately a nice feature!

or you could remove the fuse to the fuel pump or any other that wouldnt allow it not to run... my friends parents did that to his truck when he got in trouble but we figured out what they did
