Default Kill Switch

Has anyone installed their own ignition kill switch?

If so, which wire did you tap into? (there are at least 3 that I can think of, but I'm not sure where they are & their color code)

rather than a kill switch hot bout a extra ignition switch.

if you found one of the iginition wires and put a pushbutton switch in it and mounted it underneath the dash somewhere easily reachable if you know its there

that way rather than just putting in the clutch and turning the keys you can push the button in and have it be a safety so that no one could just start your car

has anyone tried a company called battery brain. they make something similar to a kill switch but it kills power to battery. one kit has a button to activate it that you can put where you want and another has a remote.

I have the key from jeep that won;t allow the jeep to start without it being present some sort of chip. I posted this thread a while ago and was shocked to find out no one else really runs a kill switch. I brought it to a local shop here and they couldn't figure it out on how to correctly do it. they were going to make me hit my window switch before i was able to start it

I would love to see some of the other ideas

however, I don't have some special thing in my key... would love to know more about that.
