Default Notified Chrysler

I went to the chrysler website and contacted them via email to let them know how I felt about not being able to turn the ESP off. And asked them if they could tell me how to shut it all off. Told them that they might want to actually ask somebody who drives a jeep what they would want in or on it. Also requested that they stop filling the cab with plastic, ie: roll bars window trim etc...

They sent me back a very homogonized response letting me know that they could not help me and that I should contact the dealer. But that they would document my displeasure. LOL

I too went to the web site and asked about the sale of chrysler and the fate of the jeep line.
I recieved the same homoganized responce, and when I tried to pin them down I was asked politely not to send anymore emails, Oh... I also complained about the plastic, and the fact that a mere finger nail can scratch it beyond repair, Agian the same typical response!

if u do a search on line there is a forum for the LX series that has a very similar setup for their esp system. they have a modded circuit with a switch to disable. check it out, it might help.

I am having my ESP disabled at the dealer. They will do it for free, if you ask the service manager. I called DC and they said it could be done by the dealer very easily. I then called the dealer and the service manager said they have been doing it for years on the Chrysler 300. I guess alot of people don't like it...

They said it just takes a few minutes to plug-in and disable, and you can have it re-enabled just as easily...

Awesome.. Next time in at the dealers for something, I will have them disable mine too..

As noted the problems with DC.. Maybe we could get somebody interested to buy them with a real Jeep Mentality.. say like Richard Branson !!!!

We could start by calling him and tell him we want to hire him to speak at our up coming convention....

Not really so far fetched...
