Default Light Bar idea and wishing....

I'm wishing for a light bar that will hold 4 daylight KC's meeting these requirements:

1. Has a low profile...I like the profile of the Delta Skybar but is too expensive and not as much light as the KC's.

2. Low profile bar won't be seen from inside the Jeep through the windshield (hard enough to see red lights turning green as it is at 6' 3").

Anybody have any light bar wishes?

x2. i dont like the ones that are so high up, then have tall ass lights on them. looks tacky imo. i like a nice low bar, and nice bar hugging lights at least 5 lights though.

one that could be rotated down like some of the TJ ones for a lower garage access would be nice too.

I second that. I was in a parking garage couple days back and my 4' firestik antenna from my Ultramount clipped the ceiling at the entrance. I definitely cannot go higher than that!

Here's my idea for a light bar. Bolts on to the mirror fold down bolts, comes up to the roof following the lines of the windshield. The piece over the roof has a cross section of about 1" by 1". This thing is lined from one side of the Jeep to the other with 3W Luxeon white LEDs spaced about an inch a part. Tons of light, low profile, still fits in the garage.

Love LED lights...replaced my Maglites krypton with them. But will LED's penetrate the dark when applied in a light bar?
