Default Lighting options for MBRP Light Bar?

So I have this bar on the way;

http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddet...od=MBRP-130716

The bar is supposedly good for lamps up to 8 inches in diameter (though it looks like it could accomodate larger diameters too). Everyone that has fitted one of these has suggested wiring the lights up first, so I'm in the market for a set of lamps. I'm considering Hella 700's, Hella Rallye 4000's and even Cibie Oscars - I also don't hate some of the KC range. I don't want to put anything on there that's less than 7 inches in diameter.

Anyone have any recommendations - pictures of lights with the MBRP bar would be great too .

Also - I'm mainly wanting these lights for on-road use. Would pencils, driving or fogs be best, or a combination of two?

X2 on the lightforce 170's

for an even better set up I went with the 170 HID's on the windshield and they work insanely good. Definitely worth the extra penny in my opinion!

Just to let you know, this is no suggestion. If you put the bar on first without lights you will have to take if all of to install the lights. I have it and love it.

That is the same light bar that I want to get. Snap a bunch of photos during your install and post the write up.

what ever light you decide on,consider this H1 bulbs light up more of the reflector, the filament is vertical exposing more reflector to light, more of the reflrctor = more light down the road. I think a driving light is more useful then spot or fog

Another vote for the Lightforce 170s. Have 4 of them and love 'em.

It's not until I'm finished these things that I think of taking progress/installation pictures - sorry.

Anyway - still haven't decided on lights, but I couldn't resist fitting the bar up (it's a pretty simple install);

Just to close this out - ended up going with Pro-comp 130's (8 inch diameter);
