Default Main panel rocker switches

I'm trying to find some rocker switches that would fit into the blocked out/off switches on the main panel below the heater/fan controls on a 2012 wrangler.

The dealer wanted to sell me all of the switches as a module for $80.

I want to keep the stock look, I'm not interested in the after market ones. I've already got blank spots for more switches and I'd like to use those first.

I would suggest more research to find out why more people haven't gone the route you're considering.

The reason why the dealer is trying to sell you the module is that the individual switches are not replaceable separately. You have to buy the module from the Rubicon to get the additional switches. Now there are retailers that offer this for less than $80. As karls suggested you should research this further.

The module is designed to work with the vehicle computer and you may not be able to easily wire up the switches the way you want. For example the switches will be marked already for the swaybar and the lockers. If you are really using it for lockers I have heard that the dealer needs to flash the computer to enable it. Most people don't bother and just go aftermarket.

I am going to be doing the same thing. I think it's tacky to use an aftermarket switch panel when my jeep has 4 empty spots where a switch should be.
I will make this happen, it may take me a few weeks because my tools are still in transit.

I will also be making the hook next to the switch panel a USB charge port.

Default I agree

Keep me posted on how you make out. I agree that it is tacky to add more switches some where else when you already have blank switch locations available.

Anybody know where I can find a wrecked rubi or Sarah that I can get those switches from?

Why not buy some rockers from the store and hole saw them in yourself I understand factory but the blanks are perfect for some low profile aftermarket rocker switches

Nah, I like the clean stock look, not the backyard mechanic look.

The blanks in the dash by the hazard switch are complicated and tough to use without factory ones. I did in mine but took me forever and they are tight. I wouldn't do it again.
