Thanks for the post! That horn was driving me nuts.

Does anyone know a way to defeat the headlights coming on when the doors are unlocked?

To Turn Off “Flash Lights With Lock”
NOTE: The Flash Lights With Lock feature can be
turned on or off by performing the following steps:
1. Press the “Unlock” button for 4 to 10 seconds.
2. While the “Unlock” button is pressed, (after 4 seconds)
press the “Lock” button. Release both buttons.
3. Test the flash lamps with LOCK feature while outside
of the vehicle, by pressing the “Lock” button on the key
fob with the ignition in the LOCK position, and the key
removed.
NOTE: Pressing the “Lock” button on the key fob, while
you are in the vehicle, will activate the Security Alarm.
Opening a door with the Security Alarm activated will
cause the alarm to sound. Press the “Unlock” button to
deactivate the Security Alarm.

[QUOTE=gold knight;183210][QUOTE=Sgt P;181287]With the Jeep locked already, hold down the lock button for about 5 seconds, then hold down the panic button with the lock button for a second, then release them both simultaneously.

I tryed this few times on my 2008 JK Sahara witout success
I succeed to stop the light flashing but not the horn.

Is there a specific time to hold down the panic button?
I Really want to remove this horn while locking the doors

My JK used to honk when I locked it with the key FOB. Then one day it stopped.

Now I can't turn it back on (even with holding the noted buttons).

Everything once in a while it honks when I unlock it (and scares the beep out of me).

Default Manual

Open Your Glove Box (passenger Side). Read The F-ing Manual.

We have a driver-side glove box?
