Default MOPARŽ Kicker Audio Speaker Upgrade

Does anyone have the Kicker speakers to upgrade their factory ones? If so do you hear a difference in quality?

thanks

I asked this two weeks ago, there was a thread about it. People with the Kickers say there is a huge difference even better than the Infinity speakers plus they also said the Kickers have more bass.

Default Sounds great

I got the speaker upgrade (four dash/soundbar speakers and sub). The difference is actually pretty awesome. Not annoyingly deep/loud bass but makes listening to good music with the top/doors off a MUCH better experience.

The dealer I ordered from accidentally ordered the upgrade and gave me a great deal on it so the price was much easier to swallow.

Hope that helps.

can these speakers be used to replace the stock infinities and are they a big upgrade for the stock infinities? (not base but to upgrade the infinity)

I have a 2010 Sahara w/ the Infinity speakers/sub and replaced all the dash/soundbar speakers and the sub with the upgraded Kicker ones....yes, it is a large difference over the stock Infinity speakers.

Wait, there's a Kicker replacement sub for the stock infiinity sub too. Is it an 8" and does it run okay off the stock infinity amp?

Hmm, I'll have to look into this now.

I had the standard system, but replaced my speakers with Infinity reference series, and it made a huge difference. I have not heard the kickers, but have no doubt, the Chrysler "Infinity" speakers are NOT the same as an aftermarket Infinity. Any upgrade will help, but until you eliminate the amp under the steering wheel, change the head unit, and stuff the speaker bar full of foam, it probably still won't be what your looking for. All that being said, you can do everything I just mentioned for somewhere around $600 and some of your time invested. If you are serious about wanting it to sound good, that is actually a reasonably small price to pay. I spend a lot of time in my Jeep, so music was high on my list, but so were lots of other things. Good luck.

don't waste your money on the mopar kickers...there are a ton of speakers that fit both the dash and sound bar and are cheaper and much better quality. I put in punch 6 1/2s in both the front and bar and they sound amazing and I picked them up for $49 a pair from sonix.
