I swapped my 06 Rubi CIPA mirror with my stock JK RV-mirror day before Chrysler bought it back under their own lemon law, it's in my 07 Rubi now but not wired up. I actually ordered it from the dealership with a CIPA but when it got here they told me it was not an option. I had the mirror elec plug too but can't find it, can order one from parts if needed, looking for the diagram to wire everything up. I want to hook up the auto-dimmer, map/door lights and will be tapping into existing factory wiring for all that, compass and temp may be tricky, might run a separate redundant system for those two.

Anyway anyone that has any tips, tricks, diagram, etc, it would be appreciated.

 

i think someone did do this and there is a rite up on it somewhere. sorry can't be of more help i'm sure others will know

 

I'll keep searching, can't be that hard to do, toughest might be tapping into the door wiring to get the map lights.
