My front driver speaker & tweeter replacement
OK, so the last of the speaker installation posts (for a while at least).
1. Removal of the side panel and lower panel (far below the steering column).

2. Panel directly under the steering wheel "pops" off from the top (there are four (4) clips, and the bottom edge has a hinge much like the glove box

3. Make sure you have all four (4) clips after removing the aforementioned panel

4. Two (2) bolts hold on the metal panel (that antenna device is my after market alarm system, I think?!?!)

5. There are several bolts holding the plastic under-dash piece on. Removal of all these lower ones, including the one next to the data port, will allow the panel to be pulled away just enough to remove the speaker box (without taking the entire dash apart.)

6. The under-dash panel pulled away allowing the speaker box to be removed. Also, the lead connecting the "woofer" portion of the stock speaker.

7. Speaker box wtih stock speaker

8. four (4) holes drilled for installation of new speaker (6-1/2" component Infinity Kappa)

9. New speaker installed and screwed in with retaining clips

10. Stock Tweeter "popped" from housing.

11. See thread: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-electrical-lighting-sound-systems-13/my-front-passenger-speaker-tweeter-replacement-non-infinity-24555/ for details on crossover photos and side/lower panel removal.
