My headlights suck, what is the best option for improvement?
How much are you willing to spend?
I ran the IPF headlights for a while and they worked great. Pretty sure they are around $150 or so on Northridge. They come with everything you need and are plug and play. If you're willing to spend quite a bit more coin but also enhance night driving by quite a bit, you might look into JW Speaker headlights. They are an LED projector style light and IMO are worth the money. Those will run you around $800 for the pair.

I replaced all my lights with DDM HID's. Kick ass and dirt cheap in comparison to all the other options. Have not had a single kit fail or flicker yet on any of the vehicles I've had it installed on.
At least up here the silverstars are pretty expensive for what they are, they also seem to fail A LOT sooner then a normal incandescent bulb. Bought waaay too many of those when I had my car and never again. Couple silverstars and you've paid for the DDM HID kit and no where near as bright.

While agreeing that they are stupid bright, in the stock housing they throw off a ridiculous amount of glare that will almost certainly piss a lot of people off.
