Default MyGig 08 or 09

I have an 08 JK, but at some point the dealer had to replace my MyGig due to a hardware issue.

How can I tell if the MyGig I currently have is an 08 or 09?

Of course, the point of all this is that I'm trying to figure out options for connecting my iPod.

No. Can I get the part number through the user interface? Or is the part number written someplace on the back of the MyGig?

...and I like my name too

I think there is a sticker on the back that says. I am pretty sure no where in the menus does it say. It only has your VIN number and the versions of software. It is ez to pull it out real quick.

The part number will be on top of the mygig on a sticker, but if I recall correctly you should be able to see it through the menu feature. Maybe menu, system information? I can't remember, but it will be something like P05064739AD. IF the last four digits are different than 4739 (4401 or something), then you've got an 08 model. If it's 4739.. then you have an 09.
