So is no sound coming out of the speakers? I assume you connected the regular antenna and tried an FM station? A CD? That radio should be a plug and play with your Jeep. Two grey square connectors, the regular antenna, the GPS antenna, and the Sirius antenna. Even without any of the antennas you should be able to at least listen to a CD. What version of software is installed? Does a Jeep logo show up on the screen or does it still show a Dodge logo?

I have P05064739AD, iPod adapter 82211853, and UConnect kit 82211743.

Try resetting your MyGIG. I read somewhere that if you remove the entertainment system fuse (M10 I believe, the diagram in under the cover of the fusebox in the engine bay) and then hold down the Open/Close button for 10 seconds, that will discharge the My GIG and reset it. You can also disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for about 1 hour and see if that resets it.

might need to take it to the dealership and have them update the tipm, to tell the computer that you have a mygig instead of your old radio.

You will only need the lockpick for accessing certain features while driving.

This is a high speed part number so it should work when it is plugged in. When you re-connect the battery, if it still doesn't work, leave it on for a bit to get the computer to recognize it. You should not need to have the dealer activate it.

Either that or the radio wasn't working to begin with.

also, is the mygig showing the jeep logo on startup now? as others have said, leave the jeep on with the mygig powered up until the mygig is recognized and the dodge logo should switch to a jeep logo.

dont think it will matter, but worth a shot.

I bought one off Craigslist (diff model, but also high speed from a Dodge) and it powered up and said Dodge, then within 1-2 minutes rebooted with a Jeep logo and worked. Should take to the Jeep computer within a few minutes of being on and start working.
