Default mygig adding pictures

Hi all ,
I have a 2012 jeep wrangler unlimited with the 430N RHB unit.
I have been trying to add pictures to the mygig hard drive. I have a usb stick that uses a microSD card for its mem. it is formated as fat32, I plug it into the usb port on the front of the unit and the green light on the usb stick comes on telling me it sees it. I go to myfiles then pictures then add and get the screen with the options cd or front usb.
The are not highlighted, but if I put music on this same usb stick it will play the songs and again will not let my load any thing.

Can some please tell me what I am doing wrong? I tried some of the notes found when I searched but non of them have worked

Thanks
Mark

You have to experiment with picture types ( how they are saved)...I know I was able to add JPEGs but not some other forms of pics. Just throwin it out there!! play around with one pic saved as png or TIFF or jpeg and see which one it recognizes. gl

Thanks for the reply Rico, my files were saved as jpegg files, I'll convert them to the other items you stated and see if those work. I am using photoshop 6.0 to save my files

Thanks again

When you do figure it out..make sure to have the latest firmware for the unit. There was a bug that pictures would eventually be erased.
