Thanks Jeff,
Really appreciate your reply and honesty. Also, appreciate your loyalty to the product. However, I've got a hard time ordering a navigation system that has all the bluetooth buttons, but doesn't have the capabilities. I can get the unit at invoice and still don't think it is worth it. There are too many stand alone units out there that do a good job with navigation and have bluetooth capabilities that can be added to the cost of the 6 disc DVD unit and still come up well under the RER. I'm at a loss as to Chrysler's logic on this issue. Everything I've read says that the reason it's not available is because they have not been able to accommodate the folding windshield. If that's the reason, I'm betting that 99% of wranglers never see their windshield lowered, anyway. At any rate, as I understand it, this unit does go in other Chrysler vehicles that do have the U-connect capability. If that is truly the case, why couldn't a customer buy the necessary parts to effect the upgrade? (U-connect, auto dimming mirror; bluetooth module???) If you could do that, I would go for it, if for no other reason than the extended warranty.

There are some nice systems out there. I tend to be more loyal to the facotyr offered product in areas like this just because my brother has been through 3 different aftermarket nav system with major problems. I am sure that is not the case with all of them, but just personal experience.
