Called the dealer again today to see if I could now(Dec 18) order the My Gig. Sales Manager was still not sure and would have to call me back.

Has anyone else heard if these are now available in the ordering system?

Still not available as of this morning. It should have been in the order system a couple weeks ago. Today was supposed to be Job 1. I would expect that they will announce another delay later today. Hopefully that is not the case and they open it up in the order system.

Jeff,
This question may have been answered by now, but.....is the U-Connect feature active with the MyGig on the Wrangler? Thanks.

No. The U-Connect does not exist for the Jeep Wrangler. And it may never.

I've read all the posts with regard to Bluetooth connectivity. I've not seen anything with respect to literature that says that Bluetooth is available on the 6 disc DVD radio, even though it has the controls. However, everything formal I've read on the MyGig indicates it has Bluetooth capabilities. Hence, my question to Jeff. That's an expensive navigation system without the Bluetooth, regardless of the features and warranty. With it, it's competitive with other full function systems and worth the extra money, given the warranty.

The MyGig system does have the buttons integrated for the UConnect system, but they will not be functional on the Wrangler. UConnect will nto be an available feature on teh Wrangler.

The UConnect feature is a $200 feature on most vehicles made, Nav system run $1300 to $1600 depending on make /model. That is with no Bluetooth system. At $1595 this is a great feature and value on the vehicle, even without the Uconnect feature. Leaps an dbounds ahead of anything else that is offered by other car manufacturers.
