Default MyGig random turn off

my MyGig will randomly turn off and restart. anybody else having this problem or knows how to fix it?

I had the same problem the last couple of weeks I had my 08. It was out of warranty and I traded it in so I don't know of a fix.

You can find your software version number by pressing the MENU hard key, then the SYSTEM SETUP soft key, then the SYSTEM INFORMATION soft key.

Since you have a 2010 your software version is probably pretty current.

so if it is current do i just have to deal with it turning off every now and then?

It’s kind of like a computer. If your software is up to date then it’s probably a hardware problem. I assume you are still under warrantee, so I would get it fixed while it’s covered. It’s a pretty expensive part to replace on your own nickle.
