Brand new ones go for like $350-$400 on eBay ... later models are worth more since they have bigger HD and iPod support. $190 is pretty good if it's in perfect shape ... make sure it is high speed bus ... the low speed bus models sell for much cheaper but won't work in a wrangler.

What's the point of having a MyGig without NAV?

I would pass. If you are not in a hurry, you can get a RER for a great price. I got a new in the box RER for $260 shipped to my door. It was just the unit, no gps or sat antenna tho. gps antenna was $31 at dealer so total cost was under $300

I've been shopping for a RER for months, and that deal above that BigBlue posted about was a one in million type of deal. I wouldn't expect to find a RER anywhere close to that. I see most of them go for $500-$650. I see the REN models sell all the time for right around $200. If thats what you want, just watch Ebay. You should be able to get an almost new one from a legitimate seller for ~$200 shipped to your door.

I'm trying to hold out for a '09+ RER. My main reason for wanting the RER isn't so much the Nav, but more the combination of the Nav and built in UConnect. I couldn't justify spending $200 on a REN, then another $200+ on the UConnect module. I think it makes more sense to just spend $500 or so and get it in the same package plus the Nav. The only shitty part is sitting on the cash and waiting for the right deal to come along.

ok ok ok... maybe I got the deal of a century. BUT.... I just bought a '08 RER that has in motion hacked on it where it will play movies in motion without lockpick, but also came with a lockpick including a/v cable, rear view camera, mopar mic, gps antenna, sat radio antenna, and lifetime sirius for $700.

Deals are out there. Just take your time. The deal I had on that other one was unreal. I will tell you how I did it though. I searched for exact part numbers and I found one listed retarded on fleabay that no one was bidding on cause they listed it weird. I told the guy to end the auction right then and I would give him $250. He said throw in $10 shipping and its a deal. It came from a dealership that was trying to recoup money for buying the wrong unit. Good luck finding your mygig! get a steal!
