I have the STOCK stereo (non infinity) want to change out the HU... do I need the "PAC Chrysler Radio Interface ~ $120.00" To do it? I know there of thousands of posts on this- but nothing is extremely clear, and would like to know. Thanks!

 

Based on my experience, I'd highly recommend the Metra harness. Since you have the non-Infinity system, you need Metra XSVI-6522, as detailed in the FAQ of this forum section.

 

you dont need the harness if you can wire up your own. the only reason that you might NEED the harness is to get the vss wire if you are hooking up navigation. other than that you can find all the wires pretty easy yourself. but the harness would make it easier of you want to spend the money. i did it without the harness and everything works great .

 

So the Metra Harness will do the same thing? Thanks!
