So I'm pretty bummed out. I stopped at Home Depot yesterday to buy some paint/roller so I could paint the inside of my bar black to cut down on the bling. Well it looks like my bar is designed differently than the others. It doesn't have screws in the front holding the face of the light on. So I still took the end caps off. There is a rail on the top and the bottom that look like they will slide out but I'm guessing there is some sort of sealer on them that makes this less than easy. I also tried to slide the lens out but haven't been able to get it to move. Sucks. Out of curiosity does anyone else have a bar designed like this? Attachment 520614 Attachment 520615

And disassembly is gonna be a bitch!
I heard if u soak silicon adhesive in ammonia it will loosen and come off. If it's only on the end caps that's great. If not I won't bother trying to remove it at all.

Edit: Just tore it all apart! Not bad at all! I think the hardest part will be cleaning all the silicone off to apply new silicone when I'm done...
