Default Help Not sure what to do. With my fog lamps

Hey, so I just purchased new spot/flood lamps which pull 120W or 10A a piece( 21,600Lm ). I have two and I want to mount them above my winch. Can I use the factory fog lamp wiring (which is disconnected because my new bumper doesn’t have fog lamp attachments) I’m under the impression that the factory fog lamps are controlled by the computer and can only handle 45W anything past that will cut all power to the wires. Can I wire in a relay to those wires and use those lights. I’m trying to stay with factory fog light switch. But if I have to install a secondary switch in my heating controls cluster I will.

Use a relay with the factory switch triggering it and you should be fine.

Default 2 relays

Would it be best to run 2 relays, (one for each light) or just 1 30A relay with a 20A inline fuse.

I think you can use a relay.

I run two 25 watt 3.5 inch round pod lights with the stock harness. I wanted to stay around stock as i piggy-backed to the windshield mounts. While i did lose some wire after cutting the stock harness, i ended up with a litte more. So staying around stock makes me feel better.
