Default Oem headlight bulb vs Silverstar?

Hi
Just wondering, without upgrading to a expensive replacement system, will just a replacement bulb (like silver star, etc) make any difference (brightness, color, range)? If so, who makes the best replacement and do they make parking light upgrades that match? Thanks.

I switched from stock to silver stars.... They are far from HID's and LED's but I notice an upgrade from stock.

Upgraded my headlights and fogs to Silverstars. Worth it. Much brighter. They only last I think 1/3 the amount of stock normal bulbs, but changing them ain't that difficult, especially the fogs. Not sure if they make parking signal bulbs.
What I don't like about LEDs are reports that it won't warm the lenses enough to help melt snow when it sticks.

You wont notice a huge difference until you change the housing. Silverstars are decent bulbs and will give a whiter light, but don't expect a big improvement in visibility.

Even silverstars in the stock housings suck. Its just a bit brighter whiter suck. If you want to go cheap get the h6024 silverstars and some h13 to h4 adapters. Nit a ton brighter but much better light coverage and like 60 bux.
