Default One wire aux light

I bought a Hella 55W work flood light to use as a backup light. Opened the box and it just has one red wire coming out of the light. It has a rubber coated housing with a metal bolt attachment. Came with no instructions. My questions - how do I wire it without a ground wire? Is the attachment bolt the ground?

Yes. Attachment bolt is the ground. Make sure it touches bare metal. Or you could use an large ring terminal connected to a wire. And the ground the wire.
