Do all light kits have the same mounting setup? I have a set of KC light mounts and would like them to fit that.

The KC's come with everything you need.. I installed the Slimlite 130w today and it was super easy.. For your needs, I think that they will work perfect for you..

There is ALOT of discussion on how to run the wires but I have attached a few pics on how I did mine. Super clean, virtually no wire showing and super easy..

Give me a shout if you have any questions..

I also have the 130 kcs. Super bright, dont think you could use them on the road even in a emergency though. Wiring harness makes it easy to install

Another vote for the KC 130s. I wanted something bright and all in one. The harness made it easy. I have no complaints.

I love my Lightforce 170's, you can add filters to disperse the light. I typically use the spot/wide filters which has a good long distance throw but is still wide enough to light up the sides. I don't have them on my windshield but Dogsonparade does and he doesn't get any glare.

Money no object? I'd go light force or some type of HID light.

Money an object? You can NOT beat a KC. I just got a set of 130w stainless steel for $150 from amazon.

I've run Hella, IPF, and KC in the past. Best bang for the buck has always been KC. I recently had a warranty issue in that the small barrell nut that holds the outer ring on was gone! It was there when I installed them one day and gone the next. Not something that should have come off and it is not something you mess with when installing. They IMMEDIATELY sent out a new one. Customer service was FANTASTIC!

I hear the bulb itself is covered in their 23 year warranty. (most of you guys won't even have your JK in 23 years!)
