completley off topic question... does the nav function on the MYGig work off road or is it like the Tom Tom one and just losses its eerloving mind trying to find a road and just tells you to find a road?

I had the MG for a month then I got a Kenwood 7100. I love the Kenwwod. The MG was a POS.

aftermarket would be cheaper and would allow you to view DVDs and work the Navigation when driving.
You can't work the navigation while driving? This upsets me now!

all Nav systems are like this, but you can use ALL the nav features if you have the microphone installed, Zoom, enter addresses, etc.....

Meaning that you can't enter it manually, you have to sweet talk it into doing what you want it to do?

Hey guys - great info...
Anyone has a pic of what his/her full screen stereo looks like?

I am thinking of getting one installed too (have the stock regular stereo now) but i don't like the black plastic strips that you have to place on each side to block the gaps between the unit and the console.

so... images would be most welcome.

Thanks.

M.

I wanted the stock radio.

But ended up with the Mygig and Lockpick and all the extras. So far I really enjoy it.

How did you end up with all that? Did you buy your JK used?
