Default P0123 Error Help

I cleaned off the throttle body today. I disconnected the negative terminal, disconnected the throttle body connector, cleaned it, reconnected the connector and battery. After I started the jeep, it ran with a very rough idle and would stall if I didn't give it any gas. I can drive it around, but it won't go much higher than 2k rmp and I'm pretty much limited to 20 mph. I disconnected the battery again and hoped that waiting 15 minutes or so would reset the computer, but there was no difference when I reconnected everything. Ideas?

Bad connection in the connector plug is a possibility. Disconnect, and reconnect, making sure it is completely seated.
You didn't use any dielectric grease did you?

It may be possible to damage the throttle body if, during cleaning, you moved the butterfly plate too hard against full travel.
I don't know for sure. I'm just throwing that out there as a possibility.

Fixed. That connector wasn't seated all the way (thanks ronjenx). I had to use channel lock pliers to get it on enough for it to lock on the top and bottom of the plug.

I'm glad it was so simple.
