Default P0340 Cam Sensor and Traction control Errors

I'm having an electrical gremlin maybe someone has had the same issue.
P0340 Cam position sensor and TC light come on at almost the exact same location everyday (after clearing codes)
I've changed the Cam sensor and re-installed the original cam sensor with same results
I've cleaned the plug with contact cleaner
Not sure what else to look for...any help?

I have had his same issue for three plus years. Does yours go into limp mode at the same time?
What are the conditions when this occurs?
The engineers at Chrysler cannot figure it out.
My Jeep has been in the shop since Monday on another exploratory expedition.
I have read on some threads, that the problem is the engines wiring harness.
I brought this up to my tech, and they are looking into it. I don't have a lot of faith anymore. I have had two star cases opened with Chrysler regarding this.

Yes it goes into limp mode
It seems like once i hit the 40 mile mark it does this
Conditions are normal, coolant is at 200*, Trans is at 150ish, Voltage is 14V+,
I'm monitoring everything with Torque app

I've changed the Cam sensor, crank sensor, PCV valve (today), I have a new cam sensor connector i will try this weekend if the code comes back.

My Jeep suffers this problem always under load, and more often when it is hot outside.
Coolant temp is usually around 220-230 and at 3k plus rpms.

Day 1 without a code....
I took the sensor out and got another spacer but this time i hit the top of the sensor with a flathead screwdriver and a mallet to be sure it gets seated all the way down. I also bent the pins in the sensor just a bit for a tighter fit. I don't know what trick worked but first day without a code. Hopefully it fixed it...tired of the P0340 code and limp mode.

my Daughter has 2007 wrangler unlimited x 4x4 165k mi.
on cold starts drive about a quarter of a mile and the throttle control check engine and traction control lights come on jeep goes into limp mode. cycle key check engine light stays on, all other lights off, but runs and starts great seems to happen every day for the last week . checked codes got p0340 repaced cam sensor and still having the same problem exactly the same. last few months I was having a egr issue but that seems to be fixed after 2 egr valves. seems like several people have had similar issues but have not posted any fix.

Default Limp mode

Hi, I’m currently having this same issue. I have replaced both sensors and the oil pressure sensor which I heard could be a big cause and it didn’t fix it and the last time it happened it threw a new code. Regarding the rpm restriction and I checked my throttle body and it was dirty there was water and dirt getting in through my air box that was broke on the bottom so I ordered a new throttle body and I take to see if that helps. I was wondering if you ever fixed it or found out the cause?

Did they fix it? If so, what was it?
