I have run wires through both the passenger and driver side fire walls, the hole is filled with foam. I used a stiff piece wire about 3 feet long to poke a hole through the foam and tapped the electrical wire to the stiff piece of wire and pulled it back through. The passenger side was more difficult than the drivers side and if I remember correctly I also used a long flat blade screwdriver to guide the wire through part of the way. Its been several months so I may not be remembering all of the details.
