Default Power Windows from Dealer

Anyone ever go back AFTER you bought the Jeep to have the dealer install power windows?

I have an X now, previous owner only splurged for power locks, and I want power windows now.

I know there are aftermarket kits that I can install, but I'm CONSTANTLY wrenching on my motorcycle these days...racing a lot....and might just want to put the jeep in the dealer for the day and come out with power windows, leaves more time to modify and tune the bike.

Or, if it's SUPER easy, anyone recommend a great high quality power window kit that is a direct bolt in to the 4-door JK?

Thanks! ALMOST FRIDAY!!!!

I thought power windows and locks were and option ... you could get both or neither ...

So you have just power locks with no power windows?

asked my dealer when I first bought mine and they wouldnt do it; but recommended a shop that might be up to the task. After owning my Jeep for nearly two years now, I have changed my mind about dumping money into that considering my doors are off 3/4 of the year.

does anyone have an answer to this? I'm wondering the same thing.

I was told by a local dealer that you can easily add power windows at the dealer for around $400...

Do NOT take it to a dealer! All they will do it outsource the job to another company anyway! They thrive on quick jobs to make money. This job would take a tech many hours to complete and they actually would be loosing money on doing the job so they would just outsource it. Many times the Dealership will quote you for a job to be say 2 hours to complete. But most of the time it will take the tech 30min to complete. But they will still charge you for 2 hours! This is how they make money.

This is a much better solution!
