i had a 10" amplified el series, and loved it. i put it in my tj in 2000, it fit perfectly behind the rear seat, and the upper half doors fit in fine. it was easy to remove when it needed to be. it still works great, it moved to my liberty and then my wrx wagon. i am debating putting it into my unlimited that i picked up a few weeks ago. i would love to hear how you do the install, and how it sounds.

Update, spent a couple of hours today installing the EL8A Bazooka and here's what I have to share.

1) Sounds great for what it is. Nothing like a trunk full of subs but hey, I'm older and don't really need that. Just something to "feel" the music and this offers just that.
2) Could not fit it under the rear seats but probably could make it work but only if seat is removed and reinstalled over the sub. Not that serious - oh, and as per above I am older now = kinda lazy sometimes. I ran a cheap ratchet style hold down strap and placed 2-3 inches from sidewall (very important) right behind th rear seat.
3) Tapped into the harness right off HU. Radio is way easy to pull.
4) Took advantage of "auto turn on" so no need for remote wire hook-up.
5) And most important - PAY ATTENTION TO "IN PHASE". If you don't have instructions - I didn't, my tube was free....search on-lline!!! Simply put, our HU's are not setup for this and as such do not have High Output connections. By default you will want to hookup both RCA's or both sides of the speaker inputs from the sub but in reality you will only use one. Reason being that we can only hook-up as Low Output. This is why soo many have described thier sound as POO or having distortion. Hook up one side + and - as you normally would and tape off the other side - when I hooked up both.......TOTAL POO!

NO idea on HOW TO or results on any other HU beyond the single non-Infinity radio/player.

My sub is totally adjustable both on the sub itself and from the HU. Paired with the replacement Infinity 6.5's I put in the soundbar and dash - THIS THING HITS GREAT!!!!!

Not a bad return on a couple of hours investment!

Installed my 10" 100w Bazooka yesterday. Sounds pretty good for a sub I had laying around for a while.
