This ought to help light up the trails when we go to Colorado this July. It gets really dark out there... Especially if you are in a new area!

Did you use Daylighters or Slimlines? I was wondering if the Daylighters would hit the windshield as they are so much bigger.

Daylighters work just fine.

I had the same problem when I installed mine... relay didn't have a good enough ground. There a bunch of bolts into metal under the hood that arn't actually grounded

One way to test for a good ground is to use a VOM and check for continuity between the bolt (you want to use for a ground point) and the Negative terminal of the battery.

An even better way to make sure that you have an "assured ground" is to run a ground wire back to the battery.

I got these and did the install myself. Took a while for the ones on my bumper, but once I got it figured out it worked great. Drilled 2 holes just left of the steering column...well the gf did as you can tell. Works great though.
