Rear Fog light
I would like to solicit some advice. I am stationed in Belgium and all who ship their vehicles from the US must have a rear fog light installed. Generally, it is mounted on the driver's side, attached to the bottom side of the rear bumper. It looks cheap and flimsy. I had one installed on my wife's Liberty and the shop wired it to the front fog light switch. Basically the rear one is a red light-kind of a warning light to those behind you. The one on my wife's Liberty looks like it wil break or fall off if I look at it too much. Unfortunatly it's law here and the one on the LIberty is the cheapest. So, my question is, does anyone have any suggestions on any sort of light that I could either put a red bulb in for the time being that could ultimatly be used as an off road lamp when I return to the US, that is better in quality??? I figure it's time to install one on my Wrangler before my luck runs out and I get a ticket. Thanks in advance.

rear fog
hey there,
I believe the euro spec models have a built in fog like our Aussie ones see attached pic. Maybe you could find one and just change the whole bar.

Could you adapt the lights in this thread for your need?
Backup Lights in Factory Rear Bumper
If you only need one, you could install both assemblies (so it looks nice), but only one red bulb (leaving the other bulb out).

Take the plastic off, get a 4" hole saw and install some LED truck brake lights:

I wired the whites up to the regular reverse lights. Gives much more visibility backing at night. I also have a switch in the cab so that I can manually turn on all reverse lights for camp side light. They're all LEDs, so little risk of battery drain.
The red lights are stop/tail. I wired the stop (brighter) to a switch in the cab for rear fog lights. I wired the tail to the regular tail lights.
