Default Recommend a GPS for the trail?

I tried to do a search but could not come up with anything good. Can anyone recommend a good gps that will help me on OHV trails as well as on the road? I would prefer something under or about $300.

Oops looks like I put this in the wrong place.

I'd definitely go with a Garmin Map 60 csx or a cs. I use one for geocaching all the time as well as travel. I did buy the optional US map after I had the unit a while, with the map you get turn by turn directions.

I love my garmin etrex Vista HCX. Very powerful, can use it in my vehicle connected to my laptop with the whole states topo quads loaded. Then I can take it from the vehicle and use it while hiking etc.

I will say the garmin colorado has caught my eye. I need to learn more about it.

I have a Magellan Crossover. It has driving, topo, and marine maps. It's portable. I found a refurb on ebay for less then $100, with all accessories included.
