Default Security System!!

CodeAlarm CA 680

2-way remote
Remote Start System with two way confirming dot matrix remote control

-remote start
-while in remote start, if someone trys to steal the car and put their foot on the brake pedal to change gears, the car automatically shuts off and the alarm goes off.
-weight/motion sensors inside the car so if the soft top is down and someone gets in...you know the deal
-alarm covers front hood, trunk, both doors.
-remote will start vibrating and beeping like crazy letting me know what part of the car was "violated"
-2-way remote works up to 400 yards.
-remote tells me the temperature of the car inside
-the temperature of the engine
-also does a system diagnostics check
-it has a parking meter, where you set the remote to a certain amount of time that you have in the parking meter, and when it gets close, it goes off
-you can also pre-set it so that if the temperature goes below 0 degrees,

sry, i forgot to mention. if you remote start the car, and in the mean time someone trys to steal it, once they put their foot on the brake pedal to change gears, the car automatically shuts off. also, anytime the alarm goes off, the remote vibrates and beeps like crazy. AND anytime the alarm goes off the ignition gets disabled until i manually stick my keys in and start it.

hopefully thats better

Wow, that's quite an alarm. Now if they'd just build the remote with a key built in, like the keys we already have I think I'd bite. Unless that remote is bigger than it looked in the picture, seems like it could be done if the manufacturer wanted to.

Under normal cicumstances I would agree, but I do not believe the person starting the thead was refering to their Jeep. I think they were quoting details of the alarm. I think the kittens are still alive....

I was thinking about posting the same argument, but upon further review, he did mention the "softtop" a very-jeep specific thing. Yes, other cars do have "softtops" but the circumstances lean towards him reffering directly to a jeep... In this case, the kittens may or may not be dead.... but if they're still alive, they're probably down 7 or 8 lives....
