Default Shorty antenna

Tired of the factory antenna wacking the crap out of my jeep, I got this!

Reception IS a bit reduced but it does work well. I might have gone with the 14" but I won't return this one. It's very stiff, powder coated stainless steel.

Oh, I got it from shortyantennasource.com and it was $18

Got one too and it works great. I have not noticed any reduction in reception.

and it works great with the windshield mounted lights.

I've got the same one. Reception is not as good, but I plug up and listen to my Ipod most of the time anyways.

Ditto, I love it. With the scrub along side trails down here, my factory one was beating the hell out of the windshield frame and would always get jammed into the window weatherstrip. Not to mention the incessant "thwong" "twang" "CRACK" "thwang" "thwong" "thwang"

I'll gladly take the reduced reception. Thanks for the feedback guys!

I ordered this on my phone while I was waiting for the dealership to wash and prep my Jeep the day I bought it. It was my first mod.
I too noticed a slight reduction in the signal, but I really don't listen to the radio much.

my antenna flew off driving down the beltway the other day and was thinking about buying this.

But after driving a few days I realized I don't even need an antenna, i never lose reception on FM, now AM is fubar'd..

problem is what do i put where the antenna mount is?

Another Trail Rated Badge should fit perfectly and match the one on the other side.
