Default Sirius Renewal

I searched for this in other posts...but really did not get a real clear answer.

Our JK sirius subscription is coming up and I was wondering does Sirius call or send a letter of renewal??? I have not recieved anything in the mail for renewal. I was wondering what the steps are should I get cut off?? Do I give our VIN number to get activated again???

Thanks for the help.

Mike

When mine ended I was listening to it and it just shut off and gave me a number to call and activate it. So I did!

Well that's a PITA. They should send you something ahead of time. How long were you on the phone to get it reconnected?

There is a system id # for the radio. You can get to it via setup for channel 198 (or something like that).

When my 1 year free subsription ran out I called them up and said I didn't get a chance to really listen to the Sat Radio and ask if I could have an additional free year to play with it prior to deciding to purchase a plan or not. The guy gave me a second free year on the spot Heck he was setting somewhare in the Cayman Islands answering the phone for a living so why should he care if I got another year for free.

I've never met a bigger bunch of morons in my life (I've worked customer service myself). My subscription ran out two months early. I called to activate and question the lost two months and was told since I was already a subscriber and mine wan't activated at the dealership I got another year for free? Needless to say, the next day, my wife checked out our checking account online and my debit card was wacked for 150.00 (I was already a subscriber). After four calls they gave me a credit for 135.00? If I didn't like the programming, I would have cancelled.
