Sirius Renewal
When my 1 year free subsription ran out I called them up and said I didn't get a chance to really listen to the Sat Radio and ask if I could have an additional free year to play with it prior to deciding to purchase a plan or not. The guy gave me a second free year on the spot Heck he was setting somewhare in the Cayman Islands answering the phone for a living so why should he care if I got another year for free.
Thats better.
Thanks for the info
Mine just got shut off today. I did get a few letters in the mail in the last couple of months asking me to renew if I didn't want a disruption in service. Now the radio just displays a number to call to renew the service.
We actually switched our free subscription to a new receiver. The Original Jeep we had (temporary while the dealership got our order right!) had the Sirius in it. When we traded that in for the RUBI I just bought a radio at Best Buy and called and told them to switch it to that radio. Poor suckers that bought that other Jeep!!
When it came close to renewing (maybe 2 days) I had a call on my answering machine, but I also had my account set up at sirius.com with my Credit card info there, so it will automatically renew each 6 months (cheaper than monthy rate).

I have Sirius in both my work car and the wifes car, I dont have it in the jeep. I have two Sportster units, I've had a chance to call and talk to customer service on more than one occasion. Every time they have been very helpful, They even speak ENGLISH!!!!!!!!1
