Sirius and XM
Channel 74, the new blues station, just flat out sucks. Since the merger I have yet to hear some classic blues like: Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker, Howlin Wolf, or Blind Lemon Jefferson. Seems like they play too much "new age" blues.
Faction has been around for years on Sirius. It's a mix of hard rock, punk, and hip hop--but mostly hard rock. It doesn't play the obscure punk that Fungus used to play opting instead for the more poppy punk you're likely to hear on Alt Nation.
Also, for three hours a day they stop playing music to let this idiot ex-x-games skateboarder babble on and on about himself. This interlude happens to fall right in the middle of my work day when I could really use some good punk to get through the rest of the day.

Ahhhh come on! Ellis' show is the $hit! The Future man. When I first heard him, I was like what a pretentious asshole. My co-worker has Sirius also in his company ride and he listens to Ellis and we listened one day and at first I was like this dude is a tool, i don't like this dude. Then after listening for about 30 minutes, i was hooked. He is HILARIOUS gets a lil stoopid some days but its still funny.
Oh well, just my .02 and i STILL hate tthe merger!!!!!

Yeah! I got in the jeep one moring and thought what happened to my stations. I later realized (while listening to octane) what had happened when I heard the DJ say welcome XM subscribers. Cool more tunes!

and if not can you now, after the merger?
