Put in an aftermarket radio. Added xm tuner. Have you put the antenna on the dash near windshield or on the roof at the windshield?

I put mine in the factory location- the bar that crosses overhead where the map lights are. Signal is pretty good for the most part and I can't be mad as my antenna was $12 on eBay. I'm sure a nicer antenna would do a little better.
