Default speaker issue

so recently i've noticed when i plug my phone into an aux cable to use pandora,i tunes, etc. my right side speakers have no sound throughout. when listening to regular radio they work just fine. i've tried 2 aux cables and my wife's phone with same result? any ideas?

9.5 out of 10 times it's a dirty or lint filled phone jack that is not allowing the cable to make full contact. Suck out the jack NEVER blow in with compressed air unless you like crap under your display.

The dodge Chrysler Jeep radios with the 1/8" phono plug "aux" are notorious for failing. The problem is any weight on then cable, from dangling, causes the spring connectors inside the jack to spread, rendering them useless. I have taken apart a few of these and repaired them, but once the spring connector has "sprung"'it will continue to fail. Even faster since the metal spring has fatigued to the point of no return.
