There is quite the difference in price $39.00 at crutchfield and $35 at amazon.com and of course $80+ at everyones favorite highway robbery shop quadratheif! I can under Stand the price difference if there two different speakers. But if there the same that's just wrong... The reviews are all positive on the $ 39.00 kickers... Can any one confirm?
I think they're the same. Just make sure the mounting brackets are right, tho.

the ones from Mopar are the real 77KICK10 they are a Direct Replacement the others are same idea but require you to use adapter rings to mount easy way to tell is look close at the MOPAR one they have 3 mounting tabs where the othere have 4 ... all in all any 6.5" speaker will work it all depends on how much time you want to spend installing ? i just installed a set of MTX 6.5" XT603 in my sound bar because they were free and i had the mounting rings and splicing wires in no big deal to me only took 45 mins so ....

the Kicker 07DS5250 small they are only a 5.25", the smallest i would recommend is 6.5.

Here is an entire write up I did on the Mopar 77kick10 speakers and they are NOT the same as the overpriced Quadatec's. Quadatec just modified an off the self kicker and the Mopars kickers are made by Kicker just for the JK. Great speakers and half the price of Quadratec.

I bought mine from an aftermarket dealer (AllSportsUSA or something like that) and they were the "real" 77KICK10 speakers--no adapter ring required.

I also replaced just the front two and ran around for about a year with that. What a huge improvement! I then replaced the rear two. Virtually no difference. So, don't waste your money on the rear two UNLESS you've done something about the stock HU's failure to put much sound into those speakers. Think of it this way (with the stock RES HU): 90% improvement in sound quality by replacing the front two speakers, another 10% by replacing the rears.

Default Speaker replacement

I swapped out all of the 6.5's with some Kenwoods that I picked up closeout at a local car audio shop. The sound bars sound good but the front really don't fill that speaker pod well with the sound. Overall, very disappointed in the sound field in this JK-4 door so far.

I also traded out the HU for a Kenwood Excelon KDC-994U with Bluetooth. This deck is pretty awesome. Lastly, installed a Rockford Fosgate amp that pushes the front speakers and my as yet unbuilt custom box for a 10" or 12" sub. The amp fits perfect in the small trunk storage area.

How does such a small area affect the heat? I'm guessing over the life of the unit the heat will eventually cook it till it's dead.

Just installed it so no way to know yet. Already had the amp so wasn't out any cost. Would like to get a sweet Vibe or Alpine PDX digital amp that puts out almost zero heat if/when this one is toast.

Really just trying to play around with the sound in this car to give me something I like! As is, the highs are so high they hurt my ears and sorely missing the low end. The amp really screams the 6.5's and hope it kills my sub once I build the box.

Yup same Here

yah with the fronts aiming at the seats, tweets hitting you in the face and sound bar shooting straight down 6-8" behind your head leaving lots of room for sound loss so, im currantly working on installing a set of 2 way -4" mids in the rear rollbar corners behind the back seat, hoping with the install angle they should help fill the sound field from the rear and maybe jumping off the front speakers as they seem to be the dominant sound source.. it worth a shot i guess
