Question Strange rear light issues

Based on reading a ton of posts I think I have identified my problem. Ground issue.

All rear lights are not working, except very dim illumination when dome lights should be on. Hit the brakes and all the lights go out. Fast blink and brake light out indicator binging all day but no lights.

Question I have is that I have checked the bolts on right and left which are supposed to provide ground and can't get the problem resolved. does anyone have a suggestion how to force ground from the light housing? I'm pretty technical, but not sure how to proceed...

You can't force a ground unless that one particular is the least amount of resistance (electrical 101 path of least resistance). If you are having issues with a ground cut the old terminal end off re strip the wire and install a nice new end. That should fix it o and clean all paint and whatever else is on the ground point off. Also check the body to battery ground same with frame to body to grounds
