Default Sub-woofer

Would installing a sub-woofer mess with any of the controls or electrical systems of my jeep?

Jeep Junkie,

The only problem I could see you running into is if the subs are too power demanding. In that case, you would need to purchase a capacitor to prevent the headlights from dimming when the bass hit. I'm currently running 2 pioneer shallow mount 12" in the trunk of my 2 door jk powered by a 2000 watt monoblock amp w/ capacitor and havent noticed any issues(besides for flapping mirrors and hard top haha) I built a custom box for the trunk so I could keep my back seat and wired everything up myself so if you have any specific questions I'd be more than happy to help you out!

I'm looking for something like that. But I can't find one anywhere & I don't want to spend 300+ on a new one plus an amp. & does wiring up a sub mess with any electronics in the computer if the jeep?

No problems with the computer. Look online for package deals. I'm using an old amp and 12's from another car I had. The box cost me 79.00 plus tax new her in town. I'm getting new kicker subs and amp when I have extra cash.
