This is where I have my switches, (I used to only have the far left one installed) BUT the problem is that the right two switches flip back down when I'm on 1st, 3rd, 5th gear. I really like this location too. My question is has anyone had this issue too and if so how did you fix it. Another question is who has taken off or replaced the "shift knob cover" if so pictures please.

THANKS KCCO
Jorge

You can get rid of the daystar panel and put your switches in the flat blank panel there.

The other piece you have in question is the "shift boot". You can make your own and it'll reduce the issues. Look for the "mod" where the person replaces the plastic 'nuts' on the outside with stainless steel hardware and you should be able to figure it out from there.

You can't put switches in the blank panel. Thats reason the daystar panel sticks out. It's either the Daystar panel or a totally different location like the A pillar or on top center of dash.

Not the blank panel next to the hazards and lockers, the blank panel where the daystar goes. There's a guy who has done it, he put 6 switches down there.
