Default suggestions about subs

I just got my jk so im new to the Jeep world. I had 2 12" JL audio W3's in my explorer. I would like to put them on my jk. Only thing om not looking forward to is paying close to $500 for a head unit and have them install it and run wiring for the subs. Also I'll be doing some wheeling and will most likely have the tops off in the summer so I don't want them to get stolen. Any suggestions would help. Can you hook up subs to stock head unit?

I removed factory sub, connected an aftermarket amp to wires that used to feed factory sub. Aftermarket amp runs 2 ED 10's... I live my MyGig...

Line level converter. Just tap your soundbar speaker wires and plug RCA's into it and run power to your amp... done!

If you have the money and wanna get the best out of which ever amp or sub, get a JL cleansweep, it will correct factory output and bring it close to a flat eq thus improving the sound. Because factory radios have detuned eq's even when you adjust it. I'll be running a JL 13TW5 sub in a couple weeks, I already have it but waiting on more parts to come in for the install.

Spend the 200-300$$$ on a decent cd player, they have a plug and play wire kit and dash kit from best buy or future shop and run the wired you're self, it's very easy, I had to build my own box because no one made one that fit 2 12's in the 2-door, there isn't enough room for a ported box, I have a Sony head unit, 2200 watt kicker amp and 2 12" phoenix gold radial sd subs and with the top off the subs sound like shit so I have plugs to pull my subs out so no problems and it sounds awsome inside, and a have a base stereo set up from the factory too, hope this helps, any questions just msg me
